Produced between 1932 and 1973, these unique three-wheelers were originally designed for use as commercial vehicles, but were also used in a variety of different ways, including and most commonly as the “Meter Maid” bike.

These 45 cubic inch (750cc) machines were a favourite of delivery companies and car dealers, who used them to pick up and deliver cars for service at dealerships. Most Servi-Cars acted as traveling billboards, sporting the ‘Adʼ fender skirts that Harley Davidson sold for the model.

Although it was introduced after Indian’s Dispatch Tow (introduced in 1931), Harley Davidson’s Servi-Car outlasted the Dispatch Tow’s demise in 1942, and went on to become the standard motorcycle outfit for cities around North America.

The bike and its concept proved to be so popular that Harley-Davidson re-released the Trike in 2009.

Our feature bike is a 1962 Servi-Car, originally sold by Dudley Perkins H-D to the San Francisco Police Department. After its was retired by the SFPD it was used by the Shriners in Las Vegas. Owned by Bob James of the Sunshine Coast.

BIGGEST EVENT OUR 28th YEAR

Now in its 28th year, the Classic & Vintage Motorcycle Swap Meet and Show 'N Shine is the biggest event of its kind in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. Filling three halls of European, American and Japanese vintage motorcycle parts, the annual Classic and Vintage Swap Meet and Show 'n Shine has become a calendar fixture for motorcycle enthusiasts from all over North America and beyond.

Show ‘N Shine

Owners of all makes and styles of classic and vintage motorcycles are invited to participate in the Show ‘N Shine, and awards will be presented in ten different classes, including Best in Show and People’s Choice.
